Overview of Features - Create Survey (5/8)
This is the top of the Survey Editor screen. There are three controls in the blue box:
- Change the title of your survey.
- Choose color themes and optional background images
- Simulate how a respondent will take your survey in a popup window
Note for future use:
After you click through the survey creation process, you will still be able to access these useful controls again. Just
click on Survey Control in the orange menu bar. The Survey Control screen
leads to the Survey Options screen, which lets you adjust all your survey's options.

Q: Can I come back later and finish editing a survey if I do not complete it?
A: You can edit your survey, and adjust all your survey options, until you activate your survey. After a survey has been activated, it cannot be edited. This feature is required for some kinds of academic research. In an emergency, a SurveyShare technician can make small changes to an activated survey for a small fee.
Q: What is an activated survey?
A: When you activate a survey, it is made available online for respondents to use.
