Below the blue box on the Survey Editor is an explanation of the buttons that you use to edit your survey. If you click on a [??] link, it will pop-up a window which will explain how that button works.

Technical Note:
  • If you have software that prevents popup windows from being opened, you might have to hold down the Ctrl Key when you click on the [??] link to get the popup window to open.
  • If you are unable to get the popup window to open when you click on the [??] link, it may indicate JavaScript is disabled on your web browser. You need to enable Cookies and JavaScript to create surveys with SurveyShare.
Explanation of buttons on the Survey Editor screen:

Q: After I activate my survey, how do I send it to respondents?
A: Your surveys are hosted on our servers. You do not actually send the surveys to participants. All your participants need to respond to your survey is your respondent URL, which is displayed on the Survey Options screen.

Each SurveyShare survey is given a unique web address (URL) where respondents can take the survey. You can distribute this respondent survey web address any way you like, including posting it on your web site, emailing it to your participants, or printing the URL on paper brochures.
